Description: A Classical Dance Drama on Women's topic being presented by Actress Suhashini Manirathnam - involves three different dance forms by leading artists:

1.  Bharatanatyam by Krithika Subramanian

2. Kuchipudi by Yamini Reddy and

3. Mohiniyattam by Gopika Varma.

Music by AR Rahman, OS Arun, Hyderabadi brothers.

Event: GANDHI - A Dance Drama on Mahatma Gandhi's Life

Date: Saturday, July 22, 2017 - 6 PM

Description: A Dance Drama by Abhinaya Dance Group of San Jose (Artistic Director: Mythili Kumar) depicting the life of Mahatma Gandhi. This show was presented in South Bay few years back and got great feedback. It was also presented in St. Louis recently and got great reviews. Now, this show on Sat July 22 is being brought for the residents of East Bay to enjoy this unique dance drama.


Event Name: Raagam - Thalam - Natyam - Vadyam

Event Date: Saturday, May 27, 2017 - 5 PM

Description: An evening of Classical Arts consisting of Carnatic Vocal Concerts (Raagam), Percussion Concerts (Thalam), Classical Dance (Natyam) and Instrumental Concerts (Vadyam) by leading artists from Bay Area and India. Special instrumental concert on Chitravina by Chitravina P Ganesh.


Dance Event: Natya Vizha - Sun, Mar 12 - 2 to 5 PM

Its a dance show by students of Bay Area Dance  Schools and senior artist Smt. Shubha Dhananjay and her two daughters Maya and Mudra Dhananjay who have come from Bengaluru, India along with her student Yashaswini Raghuram from Portland, OR. The dance performances are from 2 to 5 PM. FREE ADMISSION. ALL ARE WELCOME.


Sri Thyagarajar - Music Drama by T V Varadharajan - Sat, Mar 18

Note: The date/time and venue of the drama has been changed from Sun, Mar 12 to Sat, Mar 18 due to unavoidable reasons. Sorry for any inconvenience.

This Drama titled "Sri Thyagarajar", is a music drama depicting the entire life of Saint Thyagaraja - to be presented by the famous T V Varadharajan sir and his group from India with Bay Area Drama team coordinated by Naveen Nathan. The drama will be performed at Sunnyvale Hindu Temple Auditorium at 450 Persian Drive, Sunnyvale CA on Saturday, Mar 18 from 2 PM. Please make this important change in date/time and venue.


Avathara Purushan,a Dance Musical show on The Story of Ramayana conceptualized, direction, music and presented by Madurai R Muralidaran, was presented in a broadway style in association with Tiruchitrambalam School of Dance (Artistic Director - Deepa Mahadevan), Yuva Bharati as Co-sponsor and Naveen Nathan as Executive Producer. More than 75 Bay Area Dance and Drama artists consisting of kids, dance students and adults performed in this mega dance production which has english supertitles / narration to suit all the audiences. Presented TWO SHOWS - 2 PM and 6 PM on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Ohlone College Jackson Theatre, 43600 Mission Blvd, Fremont CA.

Event Name: Nathamum Natyamum - Sun, Apr 02 @ICC, Milpitas

Its an all-day classical music and dance festival highlighted with a special Classical Music Concert by Padmashri Smt. Aruna Sairam in the evening at 4:30 PM followed by a Meet-and-Greet Dinner with Smt. Aruna Sairam at 8 PM. From 11 AM to 4:30 PM, the festival will see classical music and dance performances by renowned artists from across USA and India.


Meet and Greet with Chinmayi - Sun, Nov 13

Indian Classical Arts Academy  proudly hosted Melody Queen Chinmayi Sripada  over a Meet-and-Greet session for Bay Area audience to have personal interaction with her on Sun, Nov 13 at Sangeetha Restaurant, Sunnyvale CA.


On Sep 04, Indian Classical Arts Academy presented MSS 100 Music Mela, an all day Carnatic Music event to celebrate the 100th Birth Anniversary of Bharat Rathna MS Subbulakshmi Amma. It was a grand successful event with more than 50 young, upcoming Carnatic Music talents of Bay Area performed and many Bay Area Music Teachers performed and were honored for their dedication to nurture Carnatic Music in Bay Area. The event was held at Shirdi Sai Parivaar Auditorium, 1221 California Circle, Milpitas CA from 8 AM to 6 PM PST.
